Especially designed for K-12 schools with low-fire programs, L&L School Master Kilns offer superior durability and safety while simplifying maintenance and maximizing efficiency.

While able to fire at a higher cone, the School Master kilns are recommended for firing up to Cone 1 2080°F (1140°C). The (6.7 cu. ft.) kilns feature 3" K23 firebrick for optimal strength and energy-efficiency. Smooth ceramic channels protect the heating elements as they expand and contract to help improve heat transfer and reduce brick dust. This innovative design feature eliminates the need for pins, and because the terminals are also ceramic, it’s easy to change out elements without crimping or specialized tools. Ceramic tubes protect the robust Type K thermocouples and prevent oxide dust egress for worry-free loading.

Outside, the stainless steel case keeps your kiln looking new while a corrosion-resistant aluminized stand provides stable support and helps maintain the integrity of the bottom brick. Sectional construction and strong chest handles make it simple to set up, position, and move kiln sections as needed. Instead of requiring a support bar, the heavy lid lifts easily with the assistance of two heavy-duty springs, allowing for unrestricted loading. The large, straight-bore peephole grants a wider view into the kiln and includes a solid ceramic plug that won’t fall out.

Easily control time and temperature with intuitive touch screen controls on the WiFi-connected Genesis Mini Touch Screen, or use the included free phone app for remote monitoring. The angled, piggy-back control panel opens perpendicular to the element box for convenient access, and its double-panel design keeps the clearly marked, color-coded wires cool. This not only makes maintenance a breeze—it also helps extend the life of the electronic components.
