Schmincke Liquid Earth Watercolors offer a select range of natural, vegan, artist-grade colors formulated with unique earth pigments. Unlike traditional finely milled watercolors, Liquid Earth colors preserve the natural texture and variation of the raw materials—color can be applied thickly for interesting textures and effects or diluted to achieve a range of values with just one stroke. Compatible with all watercolor and gouache colors, Liquid Earth colors are also great when paired with traditional or liquid charcoal. They are also exceptional for underpainting with oil or acrylic. Formulated with the highest quality gum arabic, they offer the qualities artists expect from Schmincke—colors dilute smoothly and hydrate instantly.
