Amaco High Fire Lead-Free Texturizer - Pint

Amaco High Fire Texturizer is ideal for adding surprising colors and textures to your pieces. Apply a coat of texturizer over or under glaze coats. When applied over glazes, a yellow-orange crystal-like texture is common. Glaze defects can also be “fixed” by hiding them beneath a new color.

This texturizer yields excellent results when applied over most Amaco High Fire Celebration, Sahara, and Potter’s Choice glazes. Amaco recommends testing Amaco Texturizers first on a test tile or sample. Pieces should always be fired to the recommended temperature of the glaze being used.
