About this supply
Bob Ross Canvas has been made following Bob’s requirements for his celebrated wet-on-wet technique. The canvas is double primed with a pale gray acrylic primer, ideal if you are using Bob Ross Liquid White, allowing you to see if the Liquid White is correctly applied.
Canvases are pre-stretched much tighter than other brands (canvas wedges are not required), giving you more durability especially when tapping and working the painting surface with large brushes or palette knives. Suitable for oil and acrylic in all styles, the canvas has a medium smooth surface on 8oz cotton.
Bob Ross tools and accessories are ideal for artists who are painting in the same style as Joy of Painting television host Bob Ross. Bob Ross artists’ materials have been exclusively designed to create beautiful oil paintings using the successful wet-on-wet techniques made popular by the late artist and television presenter.
