Matisse Structure Formula has a rich, heavy consistency that is particularly well suited to impasto techniques. It can be applied with a brush or palette knife, retaining visible marks to create bold, three-dimensional texture.
YInMn Blue was discovered by chance in 2009 by Professor Mas Subramanian and Andrew E. Smith, then a graduate student at Oregon State University.
YInMn Blue is less toxic than cobalt-based pigments such as Cobalt Blue and Cerulean Blue. However, the elements required to produce it are costly, making the pigment expensive and less widely accessible.
