Capture the essence of the season or create intricate designs using everyday objects with this Jacquard Cyanotype Kit. First discovered in 1842, cyanotype uses the sun’s rays to reveal detailed silhouettes set against a field of Prussian blue. It’s a fairly forgiving process, and this 24-piece kit makes it easy to master. All of the necessary printmaking materials are included— all you need to add are the shadow-casting objects themselves.

Simply mix the kit’s two solutions in equal parts, then coat the included 300 g Hahnemühle Platinum Rag Fine Art Paper, let dry, and arrange your objects on top. Make botanical arrangements out of leaves and flowers, design mandalas with stones and string, or use lace to produce unique patterns. An included glass printing frame helps keep everything in place once you’re happy with your design. After exposing it to the sun for 10 - 20 minutes, remove the objects and rinse the paper to reveal your finished print!

The kit can make at least 12 prints up to 8-1/2" x 11". It includes:
