Caran d'Ache Paul Smith Special Edition 849 Mechanical Pencils seamlessly blend Swiss precision and contemporary fashion design to produce an eye-catching everyday writer. Crafted from durable, lightweight aluminum, the hexagonal body is a pleasure to hold and a delight to regard. Sleek matte black and raw silver finishes contrast with bold eight-color stripes in a playful twist on the modern industrial aesthetic.

Though the exterior is inspired by Paul Smith's signature style, this pencil's performance is all Caran d'Ache. The 0.5 mm HB graphite lead advances smoothly with a click of the push-button advance mechanism, delivering crisp, clean lines ideal for sketching, drafting, and detail work. Beneath the push button is an integrated eraser for quickly correcting errors. The 849's classic spring-loaded clip keeps the pencil secure in your pocket or bag.

Each refillable pencil comes packaged in a reusable gift tin with branded accents and a matching, color-striped interior that peeks out under the lip. With its refined finishes and bold accents, this pencil is a chic, sophisticated choice for designers, collectors, stationery enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciates the look and feel of a well-made writing tool.
