Gamblin Gamvar Synthetic Varnish Brush - 50 mm

Successful varnishing of a painting requires three things — the right varnish, the right technique, and the right brush. The right varnish brush never existed. Until now, that is.

Gamblin has developed the only brush designed to work perfectly with Gamblin Gamvar Gloss, Matte, and Satin Varnishes — the Gamblin Gamvar Synthetic Varnish Brush. Because it possesses the correct balance between softness and stiffness, this synthetic bristle brush allows the depth of color, saturation of color, and precisely the gloss level artists want, every time. It is soft enough to contour to textures, yet stiff enough to evenly and thinly varnish a painting.

Use the Gamblin Gamvar Synthetic Varnish Brush when the thickest areas of a painting are thoroughly dry and firm to the touch. Gamvar Varnish adds greater depth to a painting's colors while providing a unified and protective surface.

Available in two sizes, both with short handles, the Gamblin Gamvar Varnish Brush is designed by Gamblin and made in Germany.
