Jackson's Museum Complete Stretcher Bar Kits are a convenient way of ordering your stretcher bars in a kit format that provides you with all the stretcher bars for the dimensions of canvas you wish to stretch. For larger dimensions, the appropriate center bars are also included to ensure stability. This is a set of four Jackson's Museum Stretcher Bars with a profile dimension of 35 x 58mm, offering professional strength and stability for building custom canvases. Crafted from 100% PEFC-certified pine, the wood is first kiln-dried to remove all moisture. It is then finger-jointed and triple-laminated, which eliminates the natural tendency of wood to twist or warp due to changes in heat and humidity. Laminated wood provides greater strength and stability than finger-jointed or solid wood. Stretcher bars measuring 60cm and over have center bar slots. Center bars 100cm and larger will have a notch cut in the center, allowing the center bars to sit flush in a lap joint, providing extra support for larger canvases. For step-by-step guidance on how to stretch canvas, watch A Guide to Stretching Canvas on the Jackson's Blog. This 100 x 120cm kit contains 2 x 100cm and 2 x 120cm Museum Stretcher Bars, with 1 x 100cm and 1 x 120cm Museum Center Bars.
