A set of 12 Sennelier Watercolors chosen by illustrator Emma Dibben as integral to her art practice. This box set has been made in special collaboration with Sennelier.

L'Aquarelle Sennelier has been produced in the same way for more than a century using high-quality pigments and top quality Kordofan gum arabic as a bonding agent. The honey used in L'Aquarelle Sennelier acts not only as a preservative, but also as an additive that adds brilliance and smoothness to the paint. Sennelier has revamped its watercolor formula, increasing the amount of honey to reinforce the longevity, radiance, and luminosity of the colors.

True to Sennelier's roots, the color palette remains that of the Impressionists and the paint is made in France using traditional methods. Each color is ground in the traditional way using grindstones rotating slowly so as not to heat up the paste. This operation is carried out in several stages until the paste is as fine as possible, getting rid of any particles that might impair the smoothness of the wash.

This metal tin set contains the following 10ml tube colors:

Cadmium Yellow Lemon 535

French Vermillion 675

Alizarin Crimson 689

Opera Rose 659

Permanent Magenta 680

Phthalocyanine Blue 326

Turquoise Green 843

Hookers Green 809

Gold Ochre 257

Burnt Umber 202

Van Dyck Brown 407

Paynes Gray 703
