Rublev Copper Rinse is a professional-grade corrosion inhibitor designed to protect copper and bronze surfaces from oxidation and environmental deterioration. It contains Benzotriazole (BTA), a widely accepted compound in metal conservation, which bonds to the metal’s surface to form a protective polymer film that helps stabilize patinas and prevent further corrosion.
For optimal protection, apply to a clean, dry surface by spraying evenly over the entire area. It will leave a slight haze on the metal, indicating the presence of the inhibitor. For a clearer surface with less residue, apply and then swab with a cotton ball. The protective layer can be easily removed using isopropyl alcohol if needed.
