Masterpiece Santa Cruz Hardcore Pro Canvas Panels are made of 7 oz pre-primed Belgian linen that's double-sized and double-primed with acrylic for an 11.3 oz primed weight. They have a tight weave and fine tooth linen surface texture, perfect for painting in oils, acrylics, and alkyds. The panels have an engineered-wood rigid-core board and are mounted with a pH-neutral permanent adhesive to durable vinyl backing, which stabilizes the panel, keeps it flat, and provides an impenetrable moisture barrier. Archival, acid-free, and pH-balanced, the ready-to-paint 1/8" thick panels are perfect for plein air painting.
