Add striking, sculptural texture to your ceramic work with Amaco Crawls Glazes. These mid-fire glazes are specially formulated to shrink during firing, pulling back in distinctive patterns to reveal areas of the clay body beneath. The result is a glossy, irregular, web-like texture that enhances the tactile and visual character of your piece.

These glazes are best applied with a brush. Apply heavily for deeper crawl patterns or more lightly for subtle variations. For best results, apply by brushing to horizontal surfaces to prevent excessive running or pooling.

For decorative use only. Not recommended for food-contact surfaces.
