Designed for optimal versatility, the lightly grained cardstock in these Sennelier La Cartel Pastel Card Mixed Media Pads performs beautifully whether used with dry or wet mediums.

A fine layer of pH-neutral cork powder coats the surface of its 190 lb (410 gsm), acid-free, wood pulp cardboard base. This unique texture can grab and hold up to 25 layers of soft pastel with minimal need for a fixative, making it easy to add stunning depth and richness to your pastel drawings.

With its resistance to water and solvents, this paper is also great for combining pastels, charcoal, or graphite with wet mediums for mixed media projects. Each glue bound pad includes 12 sheets.
