First released in 1933, the Caran d'Ache Metal Pencil Sharpening Machine has earned cult status for its precision, durability, and timeless design. Built from solid metal, it’s compatible with most standard graphite pencils. Adjustable settings let you control the level of sharpness—from fine points for detailed work to rounded tips for softer lines—and the cutter itself can be removed to be resharpened or replaced for a lifetime of use.

The Sharpening Machine measures approximately 4″ x 5-3/4″ and weighs 2.5 lbs—solid enough to stay put on your desk, and stylish enough to belong there.
