Montana Metal Primer is a matte primer designed to prepare and protect metal surfaces before the application of color coats and other finishes. Formulated with anti-oxidation properties, it helps resist the onset of rust while creating a neutral base that improves adhesion and promotes durable, long-lasting results.

Developed for the pre-treatment of metal surfaces such as iron and brass, as well as mineral surfaces, the primer helps protect against scratching and denting while enhancing the performance of subsequent coatings. Once fully cured, it can be overpainted with either Montana colors or primers. For best results, apply to clean, dry surfaces and allow approximately 24 hours for curing. Not suitable for use on aluminum.
