This brush pen has a fairly fine synthetic brush tip that can create thick or thin lines. It is perfect for sketching, inking and wash drawing. It contains water-soluble dye ink and is refillable. Fude pens are a type of brush pen used traditionally for Japanese calligraphy but are a great tool for many artists. The brush pens either have brush tips made with brush fibers or fiber/foam tips that mimic a brush shape. They are roughly the size of normal marker pens making them convenient to travel with and easy to pack away. Kuretake Co. Ltd was founded in Nara in 1902. They began by manufacturing Sumi Ink and have since moved on to provide their customers with high quality markers, inks, brush pens and a great range of pen solutions and writing tools to satisfy every need.
