Arches : Aquarelle : 185gsm : 56x76cm (Apx. 22x30in) : Single Sheet : HP

Arches Aquarelle watercolor paper is acid-free and chlorine-free, made of 100% cotton fibers which provide strength and stability. Its smooth hot pressed surface is ideal for detailed watercolor, gouache, ink, and mixed media. The paper is tub-sized in natural gelatine and air-dried, enabling it to take scrubbing, scratching and erasing while keeping the original intensity of the watercolor.

For more than five centuries, artists around the world have depended upon Arches for optimum quality papers, worthy of their finest work. Its whiteness is natural, obtained without optical brighteners. Sizing is important to watercolor paper - it helps the paper accept washes, scratching, and erasing without affecting the actual fibers and strength of the paper. Made in France since 1492.
