Derwent : Burnisher and Blender Set

2 burnishers, 2 blenders, sharpener and rubber. The Derwent Burnisher is a hard colorless pencil which when used over layers of pigment provides a rich polished shine finish. Burnishing pushes the pigment into the paper and leaves a very well blended, photo like finish. It makes the colors look brighter and can give an image a polished or reflective look by sealing it with a heavy layer of colorless wax. The Derwent Blender blends colors together easily. If you want to create a subtle blend of colors then the Derwent Blender is the ideal accessory. The Blender pencil is a soft colorless pencil made from the binder used for colored pencils. It allows you to blend two or more colors together to create a new color. At the same time it physically mixes and smoothes the colors so individual strokes and hard edges are softened. The Derwent Burnisher and Blender are also available individually.
