Blue ice occurs when snow falls on a glacier, is compressed, and becomes part of the glacier. Air bubbles are squeezed out and ice crystals enlarge, making the Ice blue. Clear blue ice is the strongest. The Dynasty Blue Ice brush collection combines the strength of glacial ice with flexibility to move heavy-bodied media. Intended for multimedia work in oils and acrylics, every brush incorporates two synthetic fibers of differing strengths and absorbencies that are designed to hold more media. Every stunning blue brush has a soft white tip. The brush hairs are attached to kiln-dried white birch handles with a matte black finish. Blue Ice Brushes release a smooth flow of paint on small or large surfaces — a versatile brush for the versatile artist!
