About this supply

The ViewCatcher made by the Color Wheel Company lets you view your subject matter and artwork to make better decisions about composition, color value judgement, and true color. It is ideal for plein air painting and drawing as well as in the studio.

This practical artist accessory is constructed of durable ABS plastic to hold up to the elements and provide years of use. It is a neutral gray to help make correct color values and has a small sight opening in the center that enables artists to see true color. It can be held at different distances and the adjustable opening can be oriented horizontally or vertically to help find just the right composition. Adjust the slider to your ideal composition or use the premarked standard sizes (8 x 12in, 9 x 12in, and 11 x 14in).
