Setting a new standard in safety and performance, Liquitex Professional Cadmium-Free Soft Body Acrylics deliver the brilliant intensity, richness, opacity, lightfastness, and flow of their cadmium counterparts—and none of the environmental or health concerns.

Unlike cadmium hues—mixed pigment blends that only approximate the depth and tonal quality of true cadmium pigments—these cadmium-free colors accurately mirror the vibrancy, spacing, depth, richness, and lightfastness of genuine cadmium pigments. The Liquitex team utilized cutting-edge pigment technology to create colors so accurate, they proved indistinguishable from traditional cadmium pigments in thousands of blind tests by professional artists.

Certified as safe for use in studios and educational settings by the Art and Creative Materials Institute (ACMI), these Liquitex Professional Cadmium-Free colors carry the AP seal. They have been toxicologically evaluated to ensure they contain no materials harmful to humans, making them a safer choice for artists at every stage of their practice.
