About this supply
Schmincke Soft Pastels contain the finest artists’ pigments in a high concentration, using a minimum of binder. Their exceptional softness and color strength require a traditional manufacturing process, with each pastel individually labelled by hand.
The full Schmincke pastel range includes 400 colors across 75 color groups, plus neutral greys, extra-dark shades, pearl lustre, and metallic colors. These sets offer a broad selection of colors for a wide range of applications, arranged by color in removable wooden trays.
The pastels are made by hand using traditional methods and carefully labelled to help prevent breakage. The wooden trays fit into a beautifully crafted, stained walnut presentation case, which is foam-lined for additional protection. Each pastel measures approximately 67 x 11mm, making these sets a particularly impressive gift for any pastel artist.
