The portable Richeson Italian Steel Tripod Easel is made of high-quality steel with sturdy fittings. While a lightweight aluminum easel might blow over in the wind, this heavier steel easel stays steady. Use the tripod easel in a vertical position for painting in oils and acrylics and adjust it to a horizontal position for watercolor work and applying gesso — it's also great for display. The Richeson Italian Steel Tripod Easel holds canvas up to 29" high and weighs 7 lb. It extends as high as 80" and its horizontal table height adjusts from 31" to 54".
