Designed for raku firing — the process of firing an earthenware body and glaze in a kiln, removing it from the kiln after it has reached the proper temperature, and placing it in a container of combustible materials and enclosing to reduce oxygen — these stunning glazes produce unique results every time.

Mayco Raku Glazes are recommended for use with raku clays. Fire to Cone 06 (1850°F, 1010°C). For dramatic effects, raku glazes must be reduced in a raku firing. Not dinnerware safe. All are CL with the exception of RK103P White Crackle.
