Unison Colour : Soft Pastel : Set of 18 Full Sticks : Heritage

The Unison Colour Soft Pastel Heritage Set features 18 specially selected colors found in and around the home of Unison Colour in Thorneyburn, Northumberland, England. The set commemorates the birth of the company’s founder, the late John Hersey, who was born in 1925, and the heritage he left behind.

John took inspiration for the colors in the Unison Colour range from the Northumberland landscape and this set follows in his footsteps using colors such as the pale blue doors of the Unison Color coach house, the heather-blanketed hills, the lichen-covered trees, and the deep blue of pristine Northumbrian night skies as inspiration for the set. The range of colors found in this special collection is versatile yet essential and perfectly adaptable for every artist.

Unison Colour Pastels are made in Northumberland and contain only pure pigments. Unison Colour groups their colors together in sets of related hues, instead of adding white or black pigment to the colors. The result is intense and vibrant shades, not muddied by the blending of colors.

Unison Colour Soft Pastels contain very little binder, making them truly soft and smooth. They are mixed to meticulous recipes and are based on traditional pigments such as cadmiums, cobalts, and natural and synthetic earths.
