Jackson’s Museum Stretched canvases combine the solidity of our 20mm depth wooden stretcher bars with what many consider to be the finest linens available in the world today. The stretcher bars are kiln-dried, finger-jointed and triple laminated, eliminating the risk of any twisting, warping, expanding or contracting of the wood over time. They are made from 100% PEFC-certified pine.

This is a 40 x 40cm Jackson’s Museum Stretched Canvas. The canvas is a 460gsm Claessens linen (CL66) with a medium surface. It is oil primed and is suitable for use with oil paints. For a full description of the various processes which go into manufacturing a Claessens canvas, click here.

'Oversized' stretched canvas orders - roughly those with two or more sides longer than 160cm - cannot be delivered by regular couriers, and will incur an additional location-dependent delivery charge. Once we've received your order, you will be contacted with confirmation of this cost and to arrange a delivery date.

Please note, our bespoke items can take up to 7 days to make, and please also allow for the courier service delivery time to your address. We are unable to cancel bespoke items once an order has been placed, and bespoke items are non-refundable.
