Shiva : Professional Oil Paint : Oilstik

Shiva Professional Oil Paint Oilstiks are made from refined linseed oil blended with high quality pigment and formed into a convenient solid stick. This format allows direct application without the need for a palette or mixing cup.

Ideal for sketching, outlining, and developing shape, composition, and color, the sticks can be spread or blended and used alongside conventional oil paints. A Colorless Blender is available to soften outlines and merge colors. In most cases, the paint dries within 24 hours.

The sticks are self-sealing and simply require the outer layer to be peeled away before use. They can be applied to a range of surfaces, including paper, panel, and fabric. Thinners, turpentine, and linseed oil can be used as with traditional oil paint, and varnish may be applied once the painting is fully dry.
