Schmincke Norma Blue Water-Mixable Oil Paint allows for an eco-conscious, solvent-free painting experience with no compromise in color richness, lightfastness, or performance. Developed using the same rigorous, environmentally friendly production standards as Norma Professional Oil Paints, every pigment-rich color in the range is highly lightfast with a buttery texture and characteristic brush trace. Low yellowing with good water absorption, Norma Blue offers incomparable ease of use. Colors are fully intermixable and can be used alone, diluted with water, or combined with traditional oil colors in 4:1 ratio to maintain water mixability.

A balanced selection of brilliant colors includes transparent colors, as well as modern colors such as Classic Gold. High-quality vegetable oils are used across the range, which does not include cobalt, cadmium, or zinc oxide pigments. Colors also preservative-free and low-odor, making them an ideal choice for classrooms and indoor settings. Norma Blue colors can be combined with traditional oil mediums but will lose the characteristics of a water mixable oil color.
