Vallejo Model Air Acrylic Paints are the professional standard for airbrushing miniatures, military models, and scale figures. Pre-thinned specifically for airbrush use, pigments are processed to a much finer grade than the Model Color range and maintain smooth, continuous flow—even through ultra-fine 0.2mm nozzles—without the need for additional thinning.

The range offers one of the most comprehensive selections of historically accurate military colors, covering aircraft and armored fighting vehicles from World War I through modern-day conflicts. Developed through extensive research of existing and historical military references, the range includes precisely matched RLM (German), RAL (International), and Federal Standard (US) historical tones, ensuring an authentic finish for scale accuracy.

Specially formulated for strong adhesion on plastic and metal surfaces, high pigment loads ensure outstanding opacity with minimal coats. Even when sprayed in light passes, the paint self-levels to a smooth, tight film, preserving surface textures in high-definition detail. Colors dry rapidly to a durable, waterproof matte finish.

Model Air Acrylics are fully intermixable and compatible with the Model Color range for easy brush touch-ups. 17 ml bottles prevent evaporation and allow for precise, drop-by-drop mixing and minimal waste. For maximum durability, prime surfaces before application. A compressor pressure of approximately 15–20 PSI (0.5–1 kg) is recommended.
