__Utrecht Artists’ Acrylic Gloss Gel Medium__ increases the body and transparency of acrylic colors. Gel can be used as a topcoat to increase gloss and depth but is not considered an ideal varnish coat. Imparting a glossy, glass-like finish, gloss gel is ideal for use as a transfer medium, collage adhesive, and is perfect for glazing.

__Utrecht Artists’ Acrylic Gel Matte Medium__ is a heavy-bodied emulsion that adds body and texture to acrylic colors for a flat finish. Gel dries to a low sheen and can be used to increase paint volume for broad coverage. Mixing liberal amounts with colors will also give the effect of reduced transparency. Beyond painting, gel matte medium makes an excellent transfer medium and collage adhesive.
