Schmincke : Horadam Watercolor Paint : Wooden Box : 5ml Supergranulation : Set of 50

The Schmincke Horadam Watercolor Paint Supergranulation Set of 50 is a beautiful wooden box set containing a comprehensive selection of supergranulating watercolors from their Volcano, Desert, Haze, Galaxy, Shire, Forest, Tundra, Urban, Deep Sea, and Glacier color collections.

These color groups take their inspiration from the natural and urban landscape and are ideal for skyscapes, seascapes, landscapes, and more. Their granulating properties create incredible textures on paper. The set also includes a special edition Da Vinci watercolor brush.

The distinctive feature of Schmincke Horadam Supergranulation Watercolors is that they contain a combination of two or more granulating pigments which separate and settle into the paper surface to create beautiful textural effects.

To achieve the highest standards regarding lightfastness, re-solubility and stability, Schmincke Horadam watercolors contain only the finest raw materials. The paints are bound with Kordofan gum arabic from the southern Sahara. Due to the natural source of the binder, the gum arabic does tend to differ slightly year on year. Schmincke continually tests their ingredients, and the best of the batch is selected to ensure the highest quality is achieved. This means paint which has dried onto your palette can be easily re-wetted and painted with again.
