Best Urania's Desk

A pastelist's dream! Originally designed for world famous pastelist Urania Christy Tarbet, this desk is the answer for the pastel painter who seeks convenience and organization. It's a perfect companion for the oil painter or watercolorist as well. An adjustable easel, attached to the back of the desk, folds up and out of sight when not in use. Tilt it forwards for pastel painting, or backwards to support other painting media. It can hold canvases up to 36" in height. Urania's Pastel Desk is packed with features that make it a perfect workstation for the painter and pastel artist:

• Two pivoting drawers provide versatile and accessible storage space for pastels or other media.
• Two large stainless steel canisters are included, with space available for two additional canisters.

Urania's Pastel Desk belongs to a family of workstations for artists, pieces that combine storage with workspace. When not in use, it is a beautiful piece of furniture that blends with the decor in any room in the house. The entire piece is handcrafted from solid oak, and its natural finish is sanded, then hand rubbed with oil. Some assembly required.
