Designed for art students, hobbyists, and beginners, Faber-Castell Goldfaber Sketching Pencils make the brand’s renowned graphite accessible to classrooms and anyone just starting out with drawing. Smooth, finely ground graphite and clay cores produce consistent marks—whether you’re working on quick studies, precise line work, portraiture, shading, and more. Available in a solid range of lead hardness degrees, try them individually or blend together for exceptional results.

Each lead is bonded along its entire length for excellent break-resistance and clean sharpening. Lacquered hexagonal barrels provide a comfortable, ergonomic grip. Made with FSC-certified reforested wood and produced with carbon-neutral methods, they arrive pre-sharpened so you can get started right away.
