Legion : Aluminum Artist Panel : 6x6in (Approx. 15x15cm) : 1/8in Thickness : With Mounted Stonhenge Aqua CP Watercolor Paper : Black : 300gsm

These Legion Aluminum Artist Panels are rigid, lightweight supports featuring 300gsm Stonehenge Aqua CP Watercolor Paper in Black – a cold pressed, 100% cotton surface ideal for a wide range of dry and light wet media. Metallic paints and ink, and interference paints are especially dramatic on black.

Combining strength, portability, and convenience, these panels require no stretching, taping, or priming. The sleek design with rounded corners makes them frame-ready or perfect for hanging as-is, while the aluminum core ensures minimal distortion, even with heavier media.

At just 1/8in (approx. 3.2mm) thick, they are sturdy yet easy to handle, ideal for travel, plein air painting, or gallery display. All materials, including the adhesive, are acid-free and archival. The versatile surface works well with watercolor, ink, gouache, acrylics, colored pencil, oil, metallics, and more. The aluminum back can even be painted on directly for unique reflective effects.
