The Michael Harding Artists Watercolor Urban Anna Set of 10 features a selection of colors curated by the Dutch artist Astrid Wielinga, also known as Urban Anna, whose work is inspired by the beauty found on city streets. Michael Harding Artists Watercolors have been meticulously developed to create highly saturated and vivid colors. Each pigment was painstakingly researched and formulated to perform to its maximum potential. Bound with fine quality gum arabic and honey, the range features over 130 colors, 92 of which are single pigment colors, ensuring clean color mixing and strong contrast. The spectrum offered is comprehensive, with a broad choice of historical and modern clarity colors. A wide selection of greens is included for plein air, and traditional cadmium colors for their robustness. Rarer colors such as Lapis Lazuli and Rose Madder have been carefully transposed from the celebrated Michael Harding oil paint range. Michael Harding Watercolors have excellent rewetting properties, so dried paint can easily be reused, and favorite mixes can be created and stored in empty pans. Twenty years in the making, these artist watercolors offer a rich and vibrant luminosity with the aim that every color offers a distinct character to justify its inclusion in this exciting new collection.
