Da Vinci Maestro Tobolsky Kolinsky Red Sable English Shape Series 11 Brushes are made from Siberian Kolinsky sable and meet the highest standards of brushmaking.
Da Vinci Maestro Series 11 brushes offer a fuller 'English' body compared to the Series 10 and are designed to hold plenty of color. They have short black polished handles and seamless gold-colored ferrules. They are suitable for watercolor, gouache, glass painting, graphics, design, and restoration.
The 'Maestro' designation is reserved for brushes manufactured using male winter Siberian Kolinsky Red Sable fur. These are Da Vinci's top-of-the-line, highest quality brushes. The extra fine tip and tapered body result in a faster action at the tip and a snap at the point. Expect superior spring and control, plus excellent water-holding performance.
