Caran d'Ache Swisscolor Permanent Half-length Wax Pastels are deeply pigmented wax pastels for coloring and drawing, with bright, intense colors and a water-resistant finish. Lightweight and durable, they are softer than colored pencils but denser than traditional wax pastels or crayons, offering a versatile drawing material for artists of all levels.

The high pigment concentration provides strong, long-lasting color with good lightfastness, and the pastels can be used on a wide range of surfaces. Their half-length format makes them compact and practical to handle, while their balanced texture supports both broad coloring and more controlled mark-making.
