Handprinted : Magnolia Wood Blocks

<p>Handprinted Magnolia Wood Blocks are made from 10mm thick Japanese magnolia wood with a smooth, even surface. The wood is relatively soft and easy to cut, with a fine grain that can be carved across without difficulty, making it ideal for areas of solid color. These solid side-grain blocks are also thick enough to be carved on both sides.<p></p>To prepare for cutting, we advise that you give the surface a quick sand along the grain with a fine 1000-grit paper. If you do wish to use both sides, please ensure you protect the underside from getting dented or scratched. </p>
