Mayco Cascade Glaze - White, 16 oz

Mayco Pottery Cascade Glazes are moving, flowing glazes that are commonly used over other glazes to create reactions and movement. Cascades are perfect for the low fire ceramicist seeking to create looks achieved at higher temperatures. Their variability ensures that no two designs will be exactly alike. Available in Clear (the most fluid of the two glazes), or White (which moves the least), these glazes can be applied randomly or uniformly by using a brush or by dabbing them on with a sponge. Pottery Cascades can also be used as a flux with Mayco Elements Glazes to create movement in the colors. Great visual effects can be created when added under, over, or between Elements glazes. To use, apply 1–2 coats with a brush or sponge, under or over another glaze. The direction of the flow or the pattern can be influenced by how the glaze is applied. Allow the glaze to dry thoroughly, then fire to Cone 06/05. To prevent the glaze from running off vertical pieces, do not apply it to the bottom third of the piece.
