About this supply
This gesso creates a gorgeous, luminous painting surface. It's made with mica and iron oxides for a lustrous metallic sheen. The gesso is a vibrant, lightfast, and archival choice for your substrate. A radiant, golden sheen will peek out between gaps in your brushstrokes or in reserved golden areas when you paint, and the luminous glow will show through transparent oil and acrylic paints. Please note that the mica used to give this gesso its luster will settle over time, so mix the gesso well to re-suspend the particles.
