Bring a touch of the sea to your porcelain creations with Sio-2 Lagoon Turquoise Blue Porcelain Clay. Oxidation firing at 1200 to 1270ºC yields blue-green hues that vary based on the temperature. At Cone 5, it appears pale aqua, then deepens to a seaglass at Cone 6 and a delicate turquoise at Cone 8.

Its highly stable formula features significant plasticity that’s perfect for wheel-thrown pots or detailed modeling. An average of 5.6% shrinkage occurs during drying, and 10.6% shrinkage can be expected when fired at Cone 6, with 0% absorption. When fired properly, finished pieces are food-safe and suitable for tableware. Each box contains 5 kg of moist clay in a cylindrical format.
