Fabriano Atelier Gluebound Sketch Pads offer professional-quality paper in a convenient pad format for sketching, figure studies, and finished work. Made from 100% lignin-free alpha-cellulose, the natural white paper has a fine, even tooth that holds charcoal and pastel while supporting precise linework and detail in graphite, colored pencil, and ink.

Atelier is sized internally and externally, strengthening the paper’s fibers and surface to withstand repeated erasing, reworking, and layering. Lift highlights, refine details, and build up tone without scuffing, pilling, or wearing thin.

Made in Italy using renewable hydroelectric energy, including power from Fabriano’s own plants, Atelier is crafted from FSC-certified cellulose and contains no optical brightening agents (OBAs). The paper also meets ISO 9706 standards for permanence, protecting finished artwork against yellowing and deterioration over time.

Pads are glue-bound with fold-over covers that protect your work between sessions. The 120 gsm paper is ideal for daily sketching and studies, while the heavier weights stand up to more aggressive layering and also accommodate gouache.
