Mount Vision Soft Pastel Workshop Selection A Set contains 18 handmade soft pastels selected to provide a versatile range of colors for pastel workshops and general painting. Created by Karl Kelly using traditional and synthetic pigments, the pastels have a buttery feel while retaining the strength and durability needed for confident mark-making and layering.

Each pastel is made with pigments combined with a base of chalk, talc and clay. The handmade production gives the sticks their distinctive character, while the varied color selection provides a useful palette for exploring color, layering and a range of pastel techniques.
