Da Vinci Colineo Synthetic Kolinsky Sable Metalpoint Brush - Round, Size 12

• Wash brush for watercolor and liquid acrylic paints
• Synthetic fibers similar to red sable
• Hexagonal handle with matte black lacquer
• Silver-toned ferrule
• Metallic alloy tip can be used to sketch outlines

Inspired by silverpoint drawing techniques, the Da Vinci Colineo Synthetic Kolinsky Sable Metalpoint Brush features an Ethergraf metalpoint tip at one end and a traditional wash brush at the other. The specially developed metal alloy tip performs like a hard-grade pencil, creating light, crisp marks that allow artists to fine-tune their compositions before beginning to paint.

Made using different lengths of straight and wavy synthetic fibers, the wash brush offers a full belly with an extra-fine point. Its impressive color-carrying capacity is perfect for expressive watercolor work, and its highly elastic, needle-like tip produces smooth, precise lines that lend definition to fine details. A double-crimped metal ferrule securely attaches the fibers to the handle, which has a hexagonal shape that prevents rolling and fits comfortably in the hand.
