Liquitex Heavy Body Artist Acrylics - Cadmium-Free Orange, 32 oz Jar

• A professional alternative to Liquitex Cadmium Heavy Body colors
• Same tint strength, brightness, opacity, and flow of genuine cadmiums
• Rigorously researched and evaluated by thousands of artists
• AP-certified non-toxic by the ACMI

Liquitex Professional Cadmium-Free Heavy Body Acrylics offer artists the best of both worlds: the vibrant beauty and performance of traditional cadmium colors without the associated health and environmental risks.

Previously, artists seeking cadmium-free options had to rely on cadmium hue colors, which often fell short in tint strength, vibrancy, and overall performance. Using the latest advancements in pigment technology, the Liquitex lab team dedicated three years to meticulously replicating the unique optical and mixing qualities of cadmium pigments.

The resulting range of cadmium-free colors—made up of three reds, one orange, and three yellows—underwent rigorous testing for archival lightfastness, color mass tone, viscosity and rheology, color reduction, specific gravity, and opacity. Independently evaluated by thousands of working artists, these colors deliver a true 1:1 match to traditional cadmium pigments.

Liquitex Professional Cadmium-Free Heavy Body colors carry the AP seal of the Art and Creative Materials Institute (ACMI). They have been toxicologically evaluated to ensure they contain no materials harmful to humans, making them a safer choice for studios and educational settings.
