About this supply
<p>Jackson's Extra Offset Crank Palette Knives are made from stainless steel with black wooden handles. They have long shanks, a flexible blade, and a large ‘offset’.</p>
<p>When the bottom of the blade is held flat on a table, the handle of a knife with a large offset will point higher in the air than a knife with a small offset. A reasonable offset is desirable in a painting knife because it stops the artist’s knuckles coming into contact with the wet surface of the canvas.</p>
<p>The range also includes two palette knives which have long, straight blades which continue the line of the handle (i.e. with no offset at all).</p>
