Schmincke Terpin Oil Medium is a refined solvent blend made from natural terpenes—the aromatic compounds found in pine and citrus oils. Virtually odorless, it’s an excellent alternative to traditional solvents for artists with sensitives to harsh fumes.

Terpin Oil thins oil colors and enhances flow while maintaining paint consistency, for suave, controlled brushwork. It also gently speeds up drying, making it useful for those who work in quick layers. After sessions, Terpin Oil can be used to gently remove paint residue from brushes and other painting tools.
