Faber-Castell Pitt Pastel Pencils offer the expressive potential of soft pastels with the precision and control demanded in the studio. Ideal for figure studies, tonal layering, and underdrawings, these pencils are trusted by professional artists for their rich pigmentation, clean application, and refined handling.

Each pencil contains a compact, oil-free pastel core with minimal binder, resulting in saturated color laydown with significantly reduced dust. The 4.3 mm lead allows for delicate line work as well as broad shading, making them a versatile tool across drawing and mixed media techniques. The carefully curated palette emphasizes subtle earth tones and neutral values—essential for naturalistic rendering and atmospheric effects.

Crafted in Germany to exacting standards, Pitt Pastel Pencils are made using only synthetic or plant-based materials. Faber-Castell ensures no animal testing and no casein-based adhesives in production or packaging, making them a conscientious choice for the professional studio.
