Strathmore : 400 Series : Toned Gray : Mixed Media Pad : 300gsm : 6x8in

Strathmore 400 Series Toned Mixed Media Pads provide a premium surface for artists who enjoy combining drawing and painting techniques. Each pad contains 15 sheets of 300 gsm vellum-surfaced paper in warm tan or cool gray tones, perfectly balanced to enhance both dark values and light highlights. The heavyweight paper unites the strength and absorbency of watercolor paper with the fine finish of a drawing sheet, making it ideal for mixed-media artwork.

This versatile surface supports a wide range of mediums including watercolor, gouache, acrylic, graphite, pen, ink, colored pencil, marker, pastel and collage. The mid-toned base reduces the need for heavy background work and provides a natural starting point for tone and contrast. Gum-bound on one short edge for easy sheet removal, these acid-free pads are designed for both experimental studies and finished pieces.
